The TN52ND2T02 is a line service processing board. The TN52ND2T02 can be used on the OSN 6800, OSN 8800 equipment to support hybrid transmission of the ODU0 service, ODU1 service, ODUflex service and the ODU2/ODU2e service.

Basic Functions The board is used in an electrical REG station in the system to implement electrical regeneration of optical signals.
Protection Schemes Supports ODUk SNCP.
Supports intra-board 1+1 protection.
Supports OWSP protection.
Supports ODUk SPRing protection.
Supports tributary SNCP protection.
NOTE
When the cross-connect granularity is ODUflex, the board does not support tributary SNCP protection.
Clock function The TN52ND2T01/TN52ND2T02 board supports this feature only when ODU0 or ODU1 signals are cross-connected from the backplane.
Alarms and performance events monitoring Monitors BIP8 bytes (Bursty mode) to help locate line failures.
Monitors parameters such as the bias current, temperature, and optical power of the laser.
Cross-connect function Supports cross-connections with cross-connect boards.16 x ODU0/8 x ODU1/4 x ODUflex/2 x ODU2/2 x ODU2e
Loopback function Supported WDM Side, ODU0 Channel Loopback, ODU1 Channel Loopback
