The ASRB is a 32-channel POTS service board. The ASRB can be used on the MA5616 equipment to provides POTS access service.

Basic Functions 32-channel POTS access service
All ports support polarity reversal configurations for a single port or all ports in batches. The feeder voltage is -48 V
Circuit test and loop line test
Loop connectivity test
Port protection
Board power-off for energy conservation
BORSCHT for the analog user circuit
Module The protection module protects and isolates the board from lightning strikes.
The subscriber line interface module provides 32-channel POTS access service.
The processing module processes the POTS service of the board and transmits the service upstream through the HW interface. Through the SPI port bus, this module receives the configuration command issued by the control module of the board and transmits the service status information upstream.
The control module supports the intra-board communication, service management and control, and communication with the control board.
The power module controls the power from the backplane and powers other function modules of the board.
The clock module provides accurate clock source for the processing module.
