ADSL2+ subscribers of outdoor ONU(UA5000) are unable to authenticate from AAA server, however ping response from BRAS is successful, and ONU is online at NMS server as well.
No such alarm was observed.
Some alarms of LRRDI-VC3 were observed, which became normal after deactivating IPTV servies, still the problem was same.
-Checked the basic configuration of IPMA card, and verified VLANs, VLANs were correct.
-Checked the Ping response from respective BRAS, ping response was successful.
-Checked and verified the service configuration at transmission end, by loging in through ethernet port at SDH of Metro1000V3.
-Changed the ADMC card of respective subscriber's port, but issue remained the same as it was.
-Changed the EFS card at ONU's SDH(UA5000),still the problem was not resolved.
Changed the IPMA card, reconfigured it, finally the issue got resolved.
DSL connectivity at ONU's SDH was normal, which was indicating normal transmission connectivity till BRAS and AAA server, However, after detailed investigation, it was found that there was no problem with the IPMA card physically, IPMA card's software was lost, resulting in malfunction.
For authentication related problems, all the configuration related to broadband part of ONU(UA5000) needs to be verified, its VLANs, ping response from BRAS, PVC configuration and service configurations at transmission end, etc.
