SSN4SLD64(P1L1-2D2), SSN1SLD64(LS-64.2), both provie 2*STM-64 Optical Interface Board for up to 80km, what the different with this two boards?

The feature code of SSN4SLD64(P1L2-2D2) is 03, stand for the type of Optical Interface is P1L1-2D2, you can find in some Huawei document it also called SSN4SLD6403. Following the same rule, Huawei SSN1SLD64(LS-64.2) feature code is 04, so it also named SSN1SLD6404.

When you looking for a Huawei elder version board (LS-64.2), actually (P1L1-2D2) completely substitute for it. According to Huawei’s technical guideline, (LS-64.2) only available on two versions, which is N1 and N2, now all discontinued. Instead of , Huawei introduce SSN4SLD64(P1L1-2D2) into the market. You may feel the P1L1-2D2 name was strange, it break the regular rules; but this is it, P1L1-2D2 is only available on N4 version board, basiclly it is not a completely new technical of XFP module, only a name on it.

So when you facing a transmission solution in 80km, with STM-64 level, may be you currently using SSN1SLD64(LS-64.2) and need expansion more directions, but Huawei stopped manufacture SSN1SLD64(LS-64.2), then SSN4SLD64(P1L1-2D2) is also a right choice.
