Basic functions

  • Provides 12 FXS/FXO ports, which can be configured on the NMS.
    • FXS port TX Gain (dB): -12.0 to 0.0, in steps of 0.5.
    • FXS port RX Gain (dB): -6.0 to 5.0, in steps of 0.5.
    • FXO port TX Gain (dB): -16.5 to 13.5, in steps of 0.5.
    • FXO port RX Gain (dB): -16.5 to 11.0, in steps of 0.5.
  • Supports the BROSCHT function.

Port

  • External ports: DDN-1 to DDN-12, representing 12 external ports which always use timeslot 1, with port IDs 1 to 12, respectively.
  • Internal ports: 2M-1 to 2M-12, representing 12 E1 internal ports which use timeslots 1-15 and 17-31, with port IDs 65 to 76, respectively.

Service processing

Transmits/Receives and processes 12-channel 64 kbit/s signals.

Overhead processing

Supports the setting and query of the V5 and J2 bytes.

Alarms and events

Provides alarms and events for maintenance and fault locating.

Maintenance features

  • Supports warm and cold resets. The warm reset does not affect services.
  • Supports the query of the manufacturing information of the board.
  • Supports board voltage detection and alarm reporting.
  • Supports board temperature detection, alarm reporting, and performance statistics collection.
