TNF8SLNO overview

TNF8SLNO 4*STM-16 port, 8* STM-4 port, or 8*STM-1 port line board applied to Huawei OSN 1800V.

The SLNO optical interface board is a SDH board, which can be used on the OSN equipment to receive and transmit eight STM-4/STM-1 optical signals, or four STM-16 optical signals, or two STM-16 and four STM-4/STM-1 optical signals. The SLNO board converts the received optical signals into electrical signals and sends the electrical signals to the cross-connect side. In addition, the SLNO board converts the electrical signals from the cross-connect side into optical signals and transmits the optical signals.

The SLNO receives/transmits STM-16/STM-4/STM-1 optical signals, performs O/E conversion for STM-16/STM-4/STM-1 optical signals, extracts and inserts overhead bytes, and reports alarms generated on the line.

Pointer processing Processes AU pointers.
Alarms and performance events Provides various alarms and performance events, facilitating equipment management and maintenance.

  • Supports two-fiber bidirectional ring MSP.
  • Supports linear MSP.
  • Supports SNCP.
  • When working with TNZ5UXCMS, the board supports SNCTP.

NOTE: The 1800 I Enhanced only supports SNCP.
