TNG1N210 overview
Huawei OptiX OSN 9800 TNG1N210 10*10 Gbit/s Line Service Processing Board
As an OTN line board, the N210 board converts 80 ODU0, 40 ODU1, 10 ODU2, or 80 ODUflex signals into 10 OTU2 signals carried over 10 ITU-T G.694.1 compliant DWDM wavelengths (vice versa), or converts 10 ODU2e signals into 10 OTU2e signals carried over 10 ITU-T G.694.1 compliant DWDM wavelengths (vice versa). Each port on the board supports a mix of ODU0, ODU1, and ODUflex signals.
The line boards at two add/drop sites must have the same ODU Timeslot Configuration Mode.

FEC coding | FEC, AFEC-2 |
Line modulation format | NRZ |
OTN overhead protocol | Supports the OTN frame format and overhead processing defined by ITU-T G.709. |
OTN overhead |
|
Intra-board 1+1 protection | Supported
NOTE: Supports intra-board 1+1 protection when working with optical protection boards. |
ODUk SNCP | Supported |
Tributary SNCP | Supported |
Electrical-layer ASON | Supported |
Optical-layer ASON | Supported |
Physical clock | Supported |
IEEE 1588v2 | Not supported |
Outband DCN | Supports communication over ESCs. |
Test frame | Not supported |
PRBS | Supports the PRBS function on the WDM side. |
Delay measurement | The board supports latency measurement in the WDM-side optical port direction (upstream direction). When higher-order ODUk cross-connections are created on the line board, TCM section latency measurement is supported for higher-order ODUk channels. When lower-order ODUk cross-connections are created on the line board, PM/TCM section latency measurement is supported for higher-order ODUk channels, and TCM section latency measurement is supported for lower-order ODUk channels. |
Channel loopback | ODUk (k=0, 1, flex) channel loopbacks |
