TNG1T401 overview
Huawei OptiX OSN 9800 TNG1T401 1 x 100 Gbit/s Tributary Service Processing Board.
As an OTN tributary board, the T401 board converts one 100GE/OTU4 optical signal into one ODU4/ODUflex electrical signal, and vice versa.
Appearance of the TNG1T401
Valid slots
Device | Number of Occupied Slots | Physical Slot | Logical Slot |
---|---|---|---|
OptiX OSN 9800 M24 | 1 | IU1 to IU24 | IU1 to IU24 |
Item |
TNG1T401 |
---|---|
Backplane capacity | The total bandwidth is 100 Gbit/s.
NOTE: Supports backplane cross-connections of 1 ODU4/ODUflex signal from/to the cross-connect board.
|
Client-side service type |
NOTE: When 100GE services are received on the client side and mapped into ODUflex, the client equipment must support flow control response.
|
Service mapping mode | 100GE service: Supports Bit Transparent Mapping ODU4, MAC Transparent Mapping ODU4, and MAC Transparent Mapping ODUFlex. |
FEC coding |
|
OTN overhead |
NOTE: The mapping process complies with ITU-T G.7041 and ITU-T G.709. The board adopt the ITU-T G.709-compliant frame format and overhead processing.
|
Maximum frame length for a port | 1518 to 9600 Bytes, supports a jumbo frame with a maximum length of 9600 bytes. |
LPT | Not supported |
Client 1+1 protection | Supported
NOTE: When the client-side uses QSFP28-100G(4x25G)-850nm(SR4)-MPO-MMF-0.1km optical module, the TNG1T401 board does not support client-side 1+1 protection.
|
ODUk SNCP | Supported |
Tributary SNCP | Supported
NOTE: Supports the tributary SNCP protection, only when the client side service type is OTU4.
|
Electrical-layer ASON | Supported |
L1 Service Encryption | Supported
NOTE: When receiving OTU4 services on the client side, the board does not support the encryption.
|
ALS | Supported on the client side when 100GE services are received. |
LLDP | When the client-side service type is 100GE, the board supports the LLDP function.
NOTE: When the service mapping mode is MAC transparent mapping, the LLDP mode of the port is the Receive mode by default. In this case, LLDP packets are not transparently transmitted.
|
Physical clock |
|
IEEE 1588v2 | When the client-side service type is 100GE(MAC transparent mapping), the board supports IEEE 1588v2. |
ITU-T G.8275.1 | Supports this function when receiving100GE(MAC transparent mapping) services on the client side. |
ITU-T G.8273.2 | Supported |
Outband DCN | Supported communication over ESCs when the client-side service type is OTU4. |
Test frame | When the client-side service type is 100GE, the board supports test frame. |
PRBS | Supported
NOTE: When a TNG1T401 board receives OTU4 services, the PRBS test function is supported in both the optical port direction and the backplane direction. When the board receives 100GE services, the PRBS test function is supported only in the backplane direction.
|
Delay measurement | Supported
NOTE: When non-OTN services are received on the client side of the board, the PM section latency measurement is supported in the backplane direction (upstream direction). When OTN services are received on the client side of the board, the TCM section latency measurement is supported in the optical port direction (downstream direction).
|
Channel loopback | Not supported |
Port loopback |
