TNG2M60V 60-channel multiplexing board with VOA (Super C-band) applied to Huawei OptiX OSN 9800 M24/M12/M05.

To meet ultra-large cross-connect capacity and bandwidth requirements, Huawei presents the OptiX OSN 9800 product series. The OptiX OSN 9800 product series include the OptiX OSN 9800 U64, U32, P18 and universal platform subracks. Applied at the electrical layer, the OptiX OSN 9800 U64 and U32 subracks share boards by using unified software and hardware platforms, and can work with the OptiX OSN 9800 universal platform subrack and P18 subrack, OptiX OSN 8800 platform subrack and T16 subrack, and OptiX OSN 6800 optical subracks in WDM and OTN systems.

The TNG2M60V board has two variants: TNG2M60V01 and TNG2M60V02.

Basic function
  • M60V board: Multiplexes a maximum of 60 wavelength signals into one multi-wavelength signal.
  • M60V01: multiplexes 60 channels of even-wavelength optical signals with a fixed channel spacing of 100 GHz into one multi-wavelength signal.
  • M60V02: multiplexes 60 channels of odd-wavelength optical signals with a fixed channel spacing of 100 GHz into one multi-wavelength signal.
WDM specification Supports the DWDM specifications.
Spectrum application Supports super C-band.
Online optical performance monitoring Provides an in-service monitoring port. This port connects to an optical spectrum analyzer or spectrum analyzer unit to monitor the spectrum and optical performance of the multiplexed signal without affecting traffic.
Optical-layer ASON Supported
Optical power adjustment Adjusts the optical power of each signal before multiplexing.
Alarm and performance event monitoring Detects the optical power and reports the alarms and performance events for the board.
