TNG3SL64D overview


TNG3SL64D 2 x STM-64 processing board applied to Huawei OptiX OSN 9800 M24.

To meet ultra-large cross-connect capacity and bandwidth requirements, Huawei presents the OptiX OSN 9800 product series. The OptiX OSN 9800 product series include the OptiX OSN 9800 U64, U32, P18 and universal platform subracks. Applied at the electrical layer, the OptiX OSN 9800 U64 and U32 subracks share boards by using unified software and hardware platforms, and can work with the OptiX OSN 9800 universal platform subrack and P18 subrack, OptiX OSN 8800 platform subrack and T16 subrack, and OptiX OSN 6800 optical subracks in WDM and OTN systems.

The TNG3SL64D board has only one variant, that is, TNG3SL64DS01.

In an M24 subrack, VC-12 and VC-3 services can be supported only when G1CXP/G3CXP+SXCL boards are used.

Overhead processing
  • Supports OTN frame format and overhead processing defined by ITU-T G.709. The mapping process complies with ITU-T G.7041 and ITU-T G.709.
  • Processes the section overheads of STM-64 signals.
  • Supports transparent transmission and termination of path overheads.
  • Supports setting and query of J0/J1/C2 bytes.
  • Supports ECC communication.
  • Supports DCC transparent transmission for a maximum of any two ports. Bytes D1-D3 and D4-D12 are transparently transmitted.

Deleting a logical port that receives STM-64 services interrupts DCN communication on the port.
