TNG3T401 overview

 

TNG3T401 1*100G Tributary Service Processing Board applied to Huawei OptiX OSN 9800 M24.

To meet ultra-large cross-connect capacity and bandwidth requirements, Huawei presents the OptiX OSN 9800 product series. The OptiX OSN 9800 product series include the OptiX OSN 9800 U64, U32, P18 and universal platform subracks. Applied at the electrical layer, the OptiX OSN 9800 U64 and U32 subracks share boards by using unified software and hardware platforms, and can work with the OptiX OSN 9800 universal platform subrack and P18 subrack, OptiX OSN 8800 platform subrack and T16 subrack, and OptiX OSN 6800 optical subracks in WDM and OTN systems.

The TNG3T401 board has only one variant, that is, TNG3T401Q01.

  • In the case of FlexE services, the T401 board does not support client 1+1 protection.
  • Client 1+1 protection is not supported when MPO optical modules are used on the client side.

NOTE:

  • When the OTU4 service is accessed, the board does not support encryption.

ALS Supported when client services are non-OTN services.

NOTE:

  • LLDP is not supported in the case of FlexE services.
  • When service mapping mode is MAC transparent mapping, the LLDP mode of the port is the receive mode by default. In this case, LLDP packets are not transparently transmitted.
Physical clock
  • When receiving 100GE(GFP-T)/50GE(GFP-T)/10GE LAN(GFP-T) services on the client side, the board can support synchronous Ethernet processing.
  • When receiving 100GE(GMP)/50GE(BMP)/40GE(TTT+GMP)/FlexE Unaware(100G) services on the client side, the board can support synchronous Ethernet transparent transmission.
IEEE 1588v2
  • The board supports IEEE 1588v2 when 100GE/50GE/10GE LAN services are received on the client side, and the port service mapping mode is MAC Transparent Mapping.
  • The board supports IEEE 1588v2 when 100G FlexE unaware services are received on the client side.
ITU-T G.8275.1
  • The board supports ITU-T G.8275.1 when 100GE/50GE/10GE LAN services are received on the client side, and the port service mapping mode is MAC Transparent Mapping.
  • The board supports ITU-T G.8275.1 when 100G FlexE unaware services are received on the client side.

High-precision clock synchronization Supported

NOTE:

  • This function is not supported when the board uses the QSFP28,1310,100GE,-3.1dBm,4dBm,-4.5dBm,LC,SMF,2km,PAM4 module.
  • The board supports high-precision clock synchronization only when 100GE/50GE/10GE LAN services are received on the client side, and the port service mapping mode is MAC transparent mapping.
  • The high-precision clock synchronization function can be implemented only after the corresponding license is obtained.
  • The board must work with the subrack and system control board that support high-precision clock to support the high-precision clock synchronization function. For details, see Clock Synchronization Feature Guide.
Outband DCN Supports when the client-side service type is OTU4.
Test frame Supported when the client-side service type is 100GE/50GE(GFP-F)/40GE/10GE LAN(GFP-F).
PRBS
  • When the board receives OTU4 services, the PRBS test function is supported in both the optical port direction and the backplane direction.
  • When the board receives 100GE/50GE/40GE/FlexE Unaware(50G/100G) services, the PRBS test function is supported only in the backplane direction.
Latency measurement
  • Supports PM and TCM latency measurement for upstream higher-order ODU channels.
  • Supports PM and TCM latency measurement for upstream lower-order ODU channels when non-OTN services are received on the client side.
  • Supports TCM latency measurement for downstream lower-order ODU channels when OTN services are received on the client side.
Channel loopback When a client-side port accesses 4 x 10GE signals, channel loopback is supported.
Port loopback
  • Supports inloops and outloops on the client side.
  • Supports ODUk inloops and ODUk outloops on the client side.
  • Supports inloops and outloops in a FlexE group.

NOTE:

  • The board supports ODUk inloop and ODUk outloop only when non-OTN services are received, the port working mode is non-convergence, and bidirectional cross-connections are configured.
  • When the service type is set to None, Inloop, Outloop, and ODUk Outloop are not supported.
  • When non-OTN services are received, the PRBS in the backplane direction can be used only with ODUk loopback. For details.
Alarm and performance event monitoring
  • Monitors BIP8 bytes to help locate line failures.
  • Monitors OTN alarms and performance events.
