TNV5T401
Backplane capacity The total bandwidth is 100 Gbit/s.

NOTE:

Supports backplane cross-connections of one ODU4/ODU3/ODUflex signal from/to the cross-connect board.
Client-side service type
  • 100GE: Ethernet service at a rate of 103.125 Gbit/s
  • 40GE: Ethernet service at a rate of 41.25 Gbit/s
  • OTU4: OTN service at a rate of 111.81 Gbit/s
  • FlexE: Flexible Ethernet services. A FlexE group supports a maximum of n x 103.125 Gbit/s bandwidth by binding physical ports.
Service mapping mode 100GE service: Supports Bit Transparent Mapping ODU4, MAC Transparent Mapping ODU4, and MAC Transparent Mapping ODUFlex.
FEC coding
  • Supports ITU-T G.709-compliant forward error correction (FEC) when the client-side service type is OTU4.
  • When the client-side service type is 100GE, only RS_FEC coding is supported.
FEC coding
  • Supports ITU-T G.709-compliant forward error correction (FEC) when the client-side service type is OTU4.
  • When the client-side service type is 100GE/FlexE, only RS_FEC coding is supported.
OTN overhead
  • ODUflex layer: supports PM overhead processing.
  • ODU3 layer: supports PM overhead processing.
  • ODU4 layer: When the client-side service type is 100GE, supports PM overhead processing.
  • ODU4 layer: When the client-side service type is OTU4, supports PM and TCM overhead processing, and non-intrusive monitoring of PM and TCM overheads.
  • OTU4 layer: supports SM overhead processing.

NOTE:

Supports overhead processing defined by ITU-T G.709. The service mapping process complies with ITU-T G.709 and G.Sup43.
Maximum frame length for a port 1518 to 9600 Bytes, supports a jumbo frame with a maximum length of 9600 bytes.
LPT Not supported
Client 1+1 protection Supported

NOTE:

  • Does not support client 1+1 protection when an MPO optical module is used on the client side to receive services.
  • Does not support client 1+1 protection when FlexE services are received on the client side.
ODUk SNCP Supported

NOTE:

  • The board supports ODUk SNCP when k = 3, 4, flex.
  • When FlexE services are received on the client side, ODUk SNCP protection groups in a FlexE group must be bound to implement unified switching of multiple ODUk SNCP protection groups.
Tributary SNCP Supported
Electrical-layer ASON Supported
L1 Service Encryption Supported

NOTE:

When receiving OTU4 services on the client side, the board does not support the encryption.
ALS Supported on the client side when non-OTN services are received.
LLDP When the client-side service type is 40GE/100GE, the board supports the LLDP function.

NOTE:

When the service mapping mode is MAC transparent mapping, the LLDP mode of the port is the Receive mode by default. In this case, LLDP packets are not transparently transmitted.
Physical clock
  • Bit Transparent Mapping ODU4: Supports synchronous Ethernet transparent transmission
  • Mac Transparent Mapping ODU4: Supports synchronous Ethernet processing
IEEE 1588v2 Supports this function when receiving100GE(MAC transparent mapping) services on the client side.
ITU-T G.8275.1 Supports this function when receiving100GE(MAC transparent mapping) services on the client side.
ITU-T G.8273.2 Supported

NOTE:

The board does not support ITU-T G.8273.2 when the system control board is U2CTU.
Outband DCN Supportes when the client-side service type is OTU4.
Test frame When the client-side service type is 40GE/100GE, the board supports test frame.

NOTE:

For Ethernet test frames, only one interface can be used to send them at a time.
PRBS Supported

NOTE:

  • When the board receives OTU4 services, the PRBS test function is supported in both the optical port direction and the backplane direction.
  • When the board receives 40GE/100GE services, the PRBS test function is supported only in the backplane direction.
Delay measurement
  • When non-OTN services are received on the client side of the board, the PM section latency measurement is supported in the backplane direction (upstream direction).
  • When OTN services are received on the client side of the board, the TCM section latency measurement is supported in the optical port direction (downstream direction).
Channel loopback Not supported
Port loopback
  • Supports inloops and outloops on the client side.
  • Supports ODUk inloops and ODUk outloops on the client side.

NOTE:

The board supports ODUk inloop and ODUk outloop only when non-OTN services are received, the port working mode is non-convergence, and bidirectional cross-connections are configured.

When the service type is set to None, Inloop, Outloop, and ODUk Outloop are not supported.

When non-OTN services are received, the PRBS in the backplane direction can be used only with ODUk loopback. For details.

FlexE group loopback Supports Inloop/Outloop.
Alarm and performance event monitoring
  • Monitors BIP8 bytes to help locate line failures.
  • Monitors OTN alarms and performance events.
  • Monitors parameters such as the bias current, temperature, and optical power of the laser.
  • Provides remote monitoring (RMON) of the Ethernet service.
