Component Fault Diagnosis

AC Surge Protector Fault Diagnosis

Check the status window of the AC surge protector:

  • If the indicator window is green, the AC surge protector is operating normally.
  • If the indicator window is red, the AC surge protector is faulty and should be replaced promptly.

 

Circuit Breaker Fault Diagnosis

Circuit breaker faults may present the following symptoms:

  • After the short-circuit fault on the output side has been cleared, the circuit breaker still cannot be switched ON or OFF properly.
  • When the input voltage is normal and the circuit breaker is in the ON state, the voltage across the breaker is greater than 1V.
  • When the input voltage is normal and the circuit breaker is in the OFF state, the resistance across the breaker is less than 1000 ohms.

 

Rectifier Module Fault Diagnosis

Rectifier module faults may present the following symptoms:

  • When the AC input and slot connector are normal, the rectifier module shows a red alarm indicator or all indicators remain off.
  • When the slot connector and monitoring system are functioning properly, the yellow indicator continues flashing even after reinserting the module.
  • When both the AC input and monitoring module are normal, the monitoring system cannot properly control the rectifier module.

 

Monitoring Module Fault Diagnosis

Monitoring module faults may present the following symptoms:

  • The DC output of the power system is normal, but the green indicator on the monitoring module remains off.
  • The monitoring module shows obvious abnormalities such as system freeze, failure to power on, LCD display issues, or unresponsive buttons.
  • When the alarm function is enabled, the monitoring module does not generate alarms even when a system fault occurs.
  • The monitoring module generates an alarm, but no corresponding fault is found during on-site inspection.
  • When the communication line is normal, the monitoring module indicates communication failure for all subordinate devices.
  • When both the rectifier modules and communication lines are normal, communication between the monitoring module and all rectifier modules is interrupted.
  • When both the communication lines and DC distribution are normal, the monitoring module cannot properly detect the DC distribution status.
  • The monitoring module cannot perform parameter configuration or display operating information normally.
