The ONT configuration status fails

Today I would like to share with you a case about the fact that the ONT configuration status fails. See more information shown below.
Product model: MA5608T
Issue description
After an ONT(here we use EG8141A5) is added to the MA5608T, a user runs the display ont info command to query the ONT status. The command output shows that the config state is failed.
Issue analysis
1. Run the display ont failed-configuration command to check the ONT configuration restoration failure information.
2. Query the ONT line configuration.
3. Confirm that the ONT supports a maximum of eight T-CONTs.
OLT judgment logic:
If the number of T-CONTs reported by the ONT is greater than or equal to the number of T-CONTs reported by the ONT, the OLT determines that the number exceeds the ONT capability set.
Root cause
The number of configured T-CONTs exceeds the maximum capability of the ONT.
Solution description
Change the T-CONT range from 0 to 7 and bind the T-CONT to the ONT again. The configuration status is restored.
