Huawei OptiX OSN 9800 TMF2SCC System control and communication board

Description

TMF2SCC overview

TMF2SCC System auxiliary Communication Board With Clock Processing Function applied  to Huawei OptiX OSN 9800 M12.

The new generation of “M” series subracks have the characteristics of ultra-large capacity, optoelectronic integration, and compact size. They are suitable for comprehensive carrying application scenarios such as broadband video, mobile backhaul, government and enterprise dedicated lines, and DCI interconnection, providing end-to-end optimal transmission solutions from backbone, aggregation to access. The M24 subrack supports two cross-connection modes, 1:1 and 1:3, which differ in the number of cross-connection board configurations, the number of available service board slots, cross-connection capacity, and application scenarios.

Item TMF2SCC
Basic function
  • Grooms services, manages configurations, and reports alarms in a subrack.
  • Backs up NE Data. When the data of an NE changes, the system control and communication unit immediately saves changed data to a storage medium to ensure that the NE data still exists after the NE undergoes a cold reset or power failure. This feature improves NE reliability.
  • Supports the backup of its data to a SATA card. The user can back up NE data (except the NE IP, NE ID, Gateway ID, and Node ID) stored on the SCC board and the SCC board software to a SATA card. After backing up the data to the SATA card, the user does not need to re-provision an NE after replacing the NE's SCC board.
OTN cluster Not Supported
Electrical-layer ASON Not Supported
Master-Slave subrack Supports subrack cascading.
DCC Supports interconnection and communication between NEs through IP over DCC, or HWECC.
Backup mode Supports 1+1 hot backup. When the active board is faulty, services are automatically switched to the standby board.
NOTE:
After active/standby switching is completed, NE data must be manually uploaded.
Dimensions (H x W x D)
  • 117.10 × 30.50 × 268.00 (mm)
  • 4.61 × 1.20 × 10.56 (in.)
Weight
  • 0.70 kg
