Description

TN11LQCPT16 overview

TN11LQCPT16 4*100Gbit/s or 16*10Gbit/s Service Programmable Wavelength Conversion Board applied to OptiX OSN 8800/6800.

The OptiX OSN 8800 Intelligent Optical Transport Platform (OptiX OSN 8800 for short) is a new generation of intelligent MS-OTN product. The OptiX OSN 8800 can interconnect with any product from the OptiX OSN product series, such as the OptiX OSN 1800, to form an end-to-end OTN network. The OptiX OSN 8800 T32/T16 supports unified switching and control based on ODUk, VC, and packets, achieving unified switching and transmission for multiple services on a single multi-service optical transport network (MS-OTN). The OptiX OSN 6800 Intelligent Optical Transport Platform (OptiX OSN 6800 for short) is referred to as Huawei next generation intelligent optical transport platform. The OptiX OSN 6800 is for area backbones, local networks, metropolitan convergence layers and metropolitan core layers. It may also work with other WDM, SDH/SONET equipment to offer a complete Metro WDM solution.

  • 16 x 10GE LAN <-> 16 x ODU2e (IMP+BMP) <-> 2 x ODU4 <-> 1 x ODUC2<-> 1 x OTUC2
Client-side service type 100GE: Ethernet service at a rate of 103.125 Gbit/s OTU4: OTN service at a rate of 111.81 Gbit/s 40GE: Ethernet service at a rate of 41.25 Gbit/s 10GE LAN: Ethernet service at a rate of 10.31 Gbit/s
LLDP Supported.
NOTE:
The LQCP board supports this function only when Ethernet services are received on the client side. When the service mapping mode is MAC transparent mapping, the LLDP mode of the port is the Receive mode by default. In this case, LLDP packets are not transparently transmitted.

  • Supports OTUC4 and OTUC2 interfaces on the WDM side.
  • Uses the frame formats and overhead processing compliant with ITU-T G.709.
  • ODU4 layer:
    • Supports PM and TCM overhead processing when 100GE/40GE/10GE services are received on the client side.
    • Supports PM and TCM overhead processing when OTU4 services are received on the client side. This board supports non-intrusive monitoring of PM and TCM overheads.
  • ODU3 layer:

Service encryption Supported.
NOTE:
The LQCP board supports this function only when non-OTU4 services are received on the client side.
Tunable wavelength The LQCP board tunes optical signals on the WDM side within the range of 96 wavelengths in extended C band.
Spectral width of WDM-side signals
  • 400G 16QAM: 75GHz flex / 100GHz fix
  • 200G QPSK: 75GHz flex / 100GHz fix
  • 200G 8QAM: 62.5GHz flex / 75GHz flex / 100GHz fix
NOTE:
During the modulation format switching of the board, if the spectrum width increases, the modulation format switching fails, an error message indicating wavelength conflict is displayed, and the system prompts that the current wavelength spectrum width is too small to switch the modulation format. In this case, you need to change the wavelength spectrum width to a larger value before switching the modulation format. For example, modulation format A whose spectrum width is 75G can be directly switched to modulation format B whose spectrum width is 62.5G, but cannot be directly switched to modulation format C whose spectrum width is 100G. In this case, you need to change the wavelength spectrum width to a larger value first. Otherwise, the modulation format switching fails.
