TNG2QCP overview

 

TNG2QCP Four optical channel protect board applied  to Huawei OptiX OSN 9800 M05/M12/M24/P32C .

The new generation of “M” series subracks have the characteristics of ultra-large capacity, optoelectronic integration, and compact size. They are suitable for comprehensive carrying application scenarios such as broadband video, mobile backhaul, government and enterprise dedicated lines, and DCI interconnection, providing end-to-end optimal transmission solutions from backbone, aggregation to access. The M24 subrack supports two cross-connection modes, 1:1 and 1:3, which differ in the number of cross-connection board configurations, the number of available service board slots, cross-connection capacity, and application scenarios.

The TNG2QCP board has only one variant: TNG2QCP01.

Basic function
  • Provides intra-board 1+1 protection: The board offers protection for the services of four OTUs that do not have the dual-fed and selective receiving function.
  • Provides client 1+1 protection: The board offers protection for four client services by working with four OTUs: two as the working OTUs and the others as the protection OTUs.
Spectrum application Support super C-band wavelengths.
Optical-layer ASON Supported
Protection scheme Dual-fed and selective receiving. (At the transmit end, the protected signal is dually fed to the working and protection paths. At the receive end, the working or protection signal is selected if it has the higher power level.)
NOTE:
  • After being powered off, the board works in the protection channel by default.
  • When the board is configured with intra-board 1+1 protection and the optical and electrical NEs are separated, the electrical-layer board in the M subrack is connected to the UPS optical-layer board on the optical NE, the board can be installed only on the electrical NE. In other scenarios where optical and electrical NEs are separated, the board must be installed in the NE where the optical subrack resides.
