Huawei OptiX OSN 9800 TNG3A212 12*10G Any Service Processing General Board(OTN Tributary,OTN and SDH Mixed Line,SDH Line)

Description

TNG3A212 overview

TNG3A212 12*10G Any Service Processing General Board(OTN Tributary,OTN and SDH Mixed Line,SDH Line) applied to Huawei OptiX OSN 9800 M05/M12/M24.

The new generation of “M” series subracks have the characteristics of ultra-large capacity, optoelectronic integration, and compact size. They are suitable for comprehensive carrying application scenarios such as broadband video, mobile backhaul, government and enterprise dedicated lines, and DCI interconnection, providing end-to-end optimal transmission solutions from backbone, aggregation to access. The M24 subrack supports two cross-connection modes, 1:1 and 1:3, which differ in the number of cross-connection board configurations, the number of available service board slots, cross-connection capacity, and application scenarios.

The TNG2A212 board has two variants:TNG2A212S01 and TNG2A212S06. The two variants are interchangeable.

Functions and Features of the TNG3A212 Board (SDH)

Basic function
  • When the board port works in common line mode: The board performs conversion between SDH signals from the backplane and OTU0/OTU1/OTU2 signals.
  • When the board port works in SDH line mode: The board receives STM services through the port on the front panel, performs O/E conversion to convert the received optical signals into VC signals, and sends the VC signals to the cross-connect side. It also performs E/O conversion on the electrical signals from the cross-connect side and sends the converted optical signals.
Backplane capacity The total backplane bandwidth is 40 Gbit/s.
Service processing Supports VC-12/VC-3/VC-4 services and VC-4-4c/VC-4-16c/VC-4-64c concatenation services.
Overhead processing
  • Processes the section overheads of STM-n (n = 1, 4, 16, or 64) signals.
  • Supports the transparent transmission and termination of path overheads.
  • Supports the setting and query of J0, J1, and C2 bytes.
  • Supports ECC communication.
  • Supports DCC transparent transmission.
