TNG4OLP overview

 

TNG4OLP Optical line board applied  to Huawei OptiX OSN 9800 M05/M12/M24/P32C .

The new generation of “M” series subracks have the characteristics of ultra-large capacity, optoelectronic integration, and compact size. They are suitable for comprehensive carrying application scenarios such as broadband video, mobile backhaul, government and enterprise dedicated lines, and DCI interconnection, providing end-to-end optimal transmission solutions from backbone, aggregation to access. The M24 subrack supports two cross-connection modes, 1:1 and 1:3, which differ in the number of cross-connection board configurations, the number of available service board slots, cross-connection capacity, and application scenarios.

The TNG4OLP board has only one variant: TNG4OLP04.

Basic function
  • Implements optical line protection to ensure that services can be normally received even if the optical line is faulty.
  • Provides intra-board 1+1 protection: The board offers protection for the services of two OTUs that do not have the dual-fed and selective receiving function.
  • Provides detection based on the signal optical power.
Spectrum application Support super C-band wavelengths.
Optical-layer ASON Supported
NOTE:
If an optical subrack and an electrical subrack are not configured on the same NE, the G4OLP board must be installed on the NE where the optical subrack resides.
Protection scheme Dual-fed and selective receiving. (At the transmit end, the protected signal is dually fed to the working and protection paths. At the receive end, the working or protection signal is selected if it has the higher power level.)
NOTE:
After being powered off, the board works in the protection channel by default.
