ZTE G1612 Overview

The ZTE G1612 is a WiFi 6 GPON ONT designed as a slave ONT for FTTR deployments. It works in conjunction with the master ONT ZTE G7615V2, to deliver ZTE’s Fiber to the Room (FTTR) solution.

With optical fiber uplink, the G1612 provides ultra-gigabit dual-band WiFi and gigabit Ethernet ports, ensuring high-speed broadband access throughout the home.

The FTTR all-optical WiFi solution brings fiber directly into each room, delivering full-home gigabit coverage. This approach is enabled by ZTE’s innovative photoelectric composite micro optical cable and specialized FTTR construction technology developed by the ZTE Inspiration Lab.
