The device does not have fixed ports and provides four card slots. Currently, the device supports the following cards:

CE98-D32CQ-F: 32 x 100GE QSFP28

1. Each 100GE QSFP28 port can be configured to work at 40 Gbit/s.

2. Only the top-row ports can be split. Every four ports form a group. When a 40GE/100GE port is split into 4 x 10GE or 4 x 25GE ports, the other top-row port is also split, and the bottom-row ports in the same group become unavailable. For example, ports 1, 2, 3, and 4 form a group. When port 1 is split, port 3 is also split, and ports 2 and 4 are unavailable. Only ports with optical modules can be split, and ports with copper cables cannot be split.

3. Support for optical modules: 40GE-SR4/LR4/eSR4/ER4/BIDI/eSDLC/SDLC/LX4/eSR4 and AOC, as well as 100G-SR4/PSM4/CWDM4/LR4/SWDM4/4WDM/BIDI/LX4/DR1/FR1/LR1/ER4 optical modules are supported. When the ambient temperature ranges from 0°C to 35°C (32°F to 95°F), 100G-ZR4 is supported, but the device noise will exceed the threshold.

4. Support for copper cables: 40GE/100GE 1/3/5 m passive copper cables are supported. Copper cable auto-negotiation and splitting are not supported. Copper cables can only be used on M-LAG peer-link ports.

CE98-D8DQ-F: 8 x 400GE QSFP-DD

1. 400GE ports cannot be configured as 200GE, 100GE, or 40GE ports.

2. A 400GE port can be split into 4 x 100GE or 2 x 200GE ports. Only ports with optical modules can be split, and ports with copper cables cannot be split.

3. Support for optical modules:

(1) 400GE ports support optical modules such as 400GE-SR8/eSR8/LR8/DR4/FR4/ER8/ZR and AOC.

(2) 400G-ZR+ optical module: When the ambient temperature ranges from 0°C to 35°C (32°F to 95°F), only ports 1, 3, 5, and 7 in slots 3 and 4 support 400G-ZR+ optical modules. Each card supports four 400G-ZR+ optical modules, and a total of eight 400G-ZR+ optical modules are supported. In the ambient temperature, the device noise increases to 83 dBA. Ports 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6, and 7 and 8 form different groups. In each group, only the port with a smaller port number supports 400G-ZR+. For example, if a 400G-ZR+ optical module is inserted into port 1, port 2 becomes unavailable and no optical module can be inserted.

4. Support for copper cables: 400GE 1 m/2.5 m copper cables are supported. (For 400GE 1 m copper cables, only QSFP-DD-400G-CU1M is supported, and QSFP-DD-400G-CU1M-S is not supported.) Copper cable auto-negotiation and splitting are not supported. Copper cables can only be used on M-LAG peer-link ports.
