EA5801-GP08
The EA5801-GP08 is a box-shaped OLT. It houses integrated control and service module, 1 pluggable fan module and 2 pluggable power modules. Its mounting ears are applicable to IEC specifications and ETSI specifications, and are used in racks or cabinets of different specifications.
The EA5801-GP08 integrated control and service module integrates the H921MPCAE control module, H921NXHCE upstream module, H921GPHDE service module, and H921CIUA interface module. These modules cannot be removed or replaced.
Connected to the external AC or DC power supply, the power module converts the voltage of such power supply into a proper voltage using its power module and powers the other modules in the chassis.
MA5800-X2
MA5800-X2 service subrack provides 5 slots, 2 for control boards, 1 for the power board, and 2 for service boards.
H901BPSB is the backplane supported by the MA5800-X2.
- Compare to EA5801-GP08, we still suggest client choosing MA5800-X2, MA5800-X2 is flexible slots, can be able to choose according to customer needs, but EA5801-GP08 is fixed ports.
- EA5801-GP08 price is more expensive than MA5800-X2 in domestic market.
- EA5801-GP08 can only support 8 PON ports, but MA5800-X2 can support up to 32 PON ports
