Description
GFOA overview
GFOA is a 16-port GPON XG-PON XGS-PON flexible interface card, which can be used in the chassis of Fiberhome brand OLT AN6000-7, AN6000-15, AN6000-17, and AN6000-2.
Agile-PON is a flexible PON solution developed by FiberHome for GPON and XG(S)-PON applications. It allows a service card to integrate multiple PON technologies by using different PON optical modules. In this way, OLT resources in the current network can be fully exploited, which facilitates smooth evolution from GPON to XG(S)-PON for operators.
The ports of an Agile-PON service card can work in multiple modes, which can be identified manually or automatically.

Automatic identification: Optical modules are identified and working modes are switched automatically.
Manual identification: You can set the port mode of an Agile-PON service card manually as needed.
GFOA application
Advantages of Agile-PON application:
Smooth evolution: Agile-PON supports evolution from GPON to XG(S)-PON by replacement of optical modules instead of service cards.
High bandwidth: 10 Gbit/s in both uplink and downlink directions.
High split ratio: Provides a split ratio up to 1:256.
Compatible with XG-PON: XG-PON ONUs can coexist with XGS-PON ONUs in an ODN.
Sharing an ODN: XG-PON ONUs or XGS-PON ONUs can be connected via an existing ODN.
