Description

SSR2AUX Version Description

The AUX is available in two functional versions, namely, R1 and R2. The difference between the two versions is whether the status of the Ethernet port connection can be checked.

SSR2AUX Functions and Features

The AUX provides various management and auxiliary interfaces for the system and provides the centralized backup for the +3.3 V power supply of the boards in the subrack.

Commissioning interface	Provides one commissioning interface COM.
Internal communication	Realizes communication boards in the sub-rack.
Power supply backup and checking	Monitors the two independent –48 V power supplies and detects the overvoltage (–72 V) and undervoltage (–38.4 V) conditions. Provides the centralized backup for the +3.3 V power supply of the boards in the subrack, which realizes the 1:N protection for the secondary power supply of each board. The power of the +3.3 V backup power supply is 80 W. Detects the overvoltage (+3.8 V) and undervoltage (+3.1 V) conditions for the +3.3 V backup power supply.
Audible alarm	Supports the audible alarm and the clearing of the audible alarm.
Ethernet port connection status checking	The R2AUX supports the checking of the Ethernet port connection status.
Note: The COM interface is used for internal commissioning only. That is, the COM interface cannot be used for equipment monitoring. Otherwise, the Ethernet communication between boards may become abnormal.

NOTE:

To ensure normal conference calls, each conference call subnet can support a maximum of 10 concurrent conference calls. If there are more than 10 concurrent conference calls on a conference call subnet, divide the subnet into several ones.
