FANT-G Overview

Alcatel-Lucent NOKIA 7360 ISAM FX network termination board integrated with 4-port 10GE/GE optical uplink port.

The Alcatel-Lucent Nokia Intelligent Services Access Manager (ISAM) FANT-G network termination (NT) board is a controller board that provides service and network intelligence in the Nokia 7360 ISAM FX OLT. It provides 1.28 Tb/s switching matrix, which makes it ideal for delivery of high capacity services in fiber networks.

FANT-G Features

• is an NT card with a 1.2 TBps switch
• can be used in a 7360 ISAM FX shelf
• has four SFP+ 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10 GE) interfaces. The SFP+ interfaces
• support 1 GE and 10 GE data rates
• has one 10/100/1000Base-T interface
• has one 100 GE CFP4 interface
• supports NT I/O
• supports 8 GB CF memory card for AI and DPoE applications
• supports synchronized Ethernet (SyncE)
• supports 1 pulse-per-second (PPS)/Time of Day (ToD) interface
• supports one 10 MHz GPS interface

supports synchronous Ethernet link data clock extraction from any two of the following ports as Network Timing Reference (NTR) source:

• from SFP+ and CFP4 interfaces on the front plate
• from the interfaces on the NTIO
• supports precision time protocol (PTP) IEEE 1588v2
