Description
H903MPLB Overview
The Huawei MPLB board is a control board. It is the core of the system control and service switching and aggregation. The board can also function as the management and control core of the integrated network management system (NMS). It communicates with service boards about the critical management and control information through the master/slave serial port and inband GE/10GE channel. In this manner, the board configures, manages, and controls the device and implements the simple route protocol functions.
The Bandwidth per slot is 200Gbit/s (load sharing mode), apply to Huawei MA5800-X7/MA5800-X15/MA5800-X17 OLT.
MPLB board has H901, H902, and H903 versions available, and the difference refers to the “comparison” detail page section
Supports active/standby switchover at the control plane
Supports load-sharing mode at the forwarding plane, doubling processing performance

H901MPLA, H902MPLA, and H903MPLA are slot compatible.
H901MPLB and H902MPLB are slot compatible.

Q: The MPLB board can be used on Huawei MA5600T OLT?
A: The MPLB board is only compatible with Huawei MA5800 series OLT.
Q: Can I use the MPLA board to replace the MPLB board?
A: Yes. Both two boards are compatible with the Huawei MA5800 series OLT, but the MPLB slot bandwidth is twice that of the MPLA, we recommend the MPLB board.
Q: Can I use one pcs MPLB board on MA5800-X7 OLT?
A: We recommend using two main control boards on one OLT. When one of them fails, the other will start working immediately, and users will not be disconnected from the network.
