The Most Popular Huawei Bridge ONT
A bridge ONT is only responsible for transparent transmission and provides users with Internet access and IPTV channels. HG8310M has only one GE port. It has two versions: R13 and R15. The difference is that R15 is smaller than R13. In addition, it should be noted that the optic-receiving module is divided into two levels: B+ and C+. The actual application of B+ and C+ is not much different. Unless it is used in a particularly remote area, we recommend choosing C+. Compared with HG8310M, the advantage of EG8120L and HG8321R is that there is one more FE port and POTS port, which can use the telephone function. The memory of EG8120L is only 64G, but there is little effect on actual use. If your mind, you can choose HG8321R, whose memory is 128G. HG8321R and EG8120L also support router mode, but we recommend using bridge mode for use with home routers. Compared with HG8321R, HG8321V has one more controllable RF port, which can use the function of cable TV, and its CATV port can be turned on or off through Huawei OLT.

2.4G WIFI Huawei Gateway ONTs
HG8546M, HG8245C, and EG8141A5 have 1GE, 3FE, USB, POTS, and 2.4G WIFI. HG8245C is an older-generation product. Compared with HG8546M and EG8141A5, the price has a particular advantage, but the performance is slightly worse. HG8546M is the most widely used model in the Chinese market, and its cost performance is very high. EG8141A5 is the latest generation of products. Its PCB board integration is better. Compared with the previous two models, its performance is better. The 10 Gigabit 5dBi large antenna makes the WIFI coverage wider, faster, and more stable.
EG8247H5 and EG8143A5 are CATV Models, compared with other 2.4G WIFI home gateway models, they have one more RF port, which allows them to realize the function of Cable TV. Second, their RF ports can all be turned on/off by Huawei OLT. EG8143A5 is smaller and slightly newer than EG8247H5.
