Description

Huawei MA5683T Overview

SmartAX MA5600T is the global first OLT which integrates the functionality of aggregation switch and edge router.

It can provide high-density GPON, 10GPON and Ethernet P2P optical access, triple-play service, TDM/ATM/Ethernet leased line services for business customers and high precision clock, and high density GE/10GE interfaces for cascading remote access equipment.

 

MA5600T helps to simplify network architecture, to improve network reliability and lower TCO essentially.

The MA5680T/MA5683T/MA5608T is a series of integrated fiber-copper access devices. They support ADSL2+, VDSL2, Vectoring, SuperVector, SHDSL, POTS, GPON, 10G GPON, and P2P access modes and provide Internet access, voice, and video services to subscribers. As a series of large-/medium-/small-capacity devices, they share the same software platform and service boards.

  • Large-capacity device: MA5680T with 16 slots for service boards(ETSI)/14 slots for service boards(IEC)
  • Medium-capacity device: MA5683T with 6 slots for service boards
  • Small-capacity device: MA5608T with 2 slots for service boards

 

The MA5683T is an integrated fiber-copper access device, and can serve as a DSLAM, OLT, or MDU.

Huawei MA5683T chassis with 5U height 6 service slots, 2xSCUN main control board, 2xPRTE DC power board, support EPON, GPON, 10G PON, P2P service.

  • The MA5683T, if serving as an OLT, supports GPON, 10G GPON, and P2P access modes. It can be installed at a residential district or a street side, which reduces the usage of ODN backbone optical cables, lowers the ODN deployment cost and difficulty, and minimizes the CO equipment room space.
  • The MA5683T, if serving as a DSLAM, supports ADSL2+, VDSL2, Vectoring, SuperVector, SHDSL, and POTS access modes.
  • The MA5683T, if serving as an MDU, supports ADSL2+, VDSL2, Vectoring, SuperVector, SHDSL, and POTS access modes and transmit packets upstream to the OLT through a PON/GE/10 GE port.

MA5683T is PRTE DC power based, recommend AC/DC power converter ETP48100-B1-A1, ETP4860-B1A12 to change power solution.
